Voice is pleased to announce that we will now be working with Liberté Fitness. Launched in East Anglia this week, Liberté Fitness offers an alternative to the gym in the form of outdoor group training in parks, gardens and on some of the most beautiful beaches in the country.
The brainchild of entrepreneurial fitness fanatic, Papillon Luck, Liberté Fitness began during a holiday to Australia in 2008 where Papillon witnessed people exercising in groups on Bondi Beach in Sydney. She explains: “I love the outdoor fitness lifestyle that Sydney offers and whilst we don’t always have great weather in the UK, there’s nothing to stop us embracing outdoor exercise. Where better to train than on East Anglia’s most beautiful beaches.”
The Liberté Fitness beach training programme includes dynamic warm ups and energy raisers, short rounds of high intensity kickboxing, yoga and pilates, team challenges of speed, endurance and strength, power bag circuits, bare foot running on sand, resistance work, dynamic stretching, as well as cool down sessions. We have had the pleasure of attending a fitness day on beautiful Holkham beach in Norfolk, and we’re pleased to report, it definitely beats the gym!
The other service available to clients involves hourly park sessions organised throughout the week in parks and gardens across East Anglia. Every Liberté Fitness location follows the same training programme benefiting from a new release rolled out every four months across the region. There are new exercises to keep the experience fun and challenging ensuring whichever location you attend, you are following the same programme.
Exercising outside can burn up to 20% more calories than in the gym, due to training on uneven surfaces and contending with the weather. The Performance Sport Services Department of Loughborough University, the UK's premier University for sport, has even collaborated with Liberté Fitness to specifically design the training and nutritional programmes.
Voice will launch Liberté Fitness to the media and spread the fitness revolution far and wide, focusing primarily on national, consumer, regional and health & fitness media. As well as this, Voice will manage a full digital campaign focusing on Facebook, Twitter, Youtube and blogger relations.
