Creative Conscience

VOICE IS PROUD TO ANNOUNCE ITS PR PARTNERSHIP WITH CHARITABLE ORGANISATION CREATIVE CONSCIENCE

Here at Voice Communications, charity is very close to our hearts and we giveback in terms of time, money, help, advice and support. Our latest partnership is with charitable organisation, Creative Conscience. Creative Conscience was founded in 2012 by visionary Chrissy Levett and has the goal of inspiring and empowering the next generation of creative thinkers to use their talents for social and environmental impact.

The Creative Conscience team has built a global awards scheme, tools, along with inspiring talks and workshops for those working within the creative industry. Creative Conscience is working to change the world through positive actions. The organisation’s main focus is on the core areas of conservation and sustainability, human rights, equality, diversity and social inclusion, physical and mental health and wellbeing.

Operating with the mantra – ‘engage, inspire, train and reward the next generation to use their talents to build a better future’, Creative Conscience is made up of industry leading professionals, social entrepreneurs, educators, students and graduates. From Imperial College London to Cornell University in New York, the organisation works  to engage with some of the best universities and educational institutions in the world. Through thought-provoking talks, events and workshops, Creative Conscience helps creative thinkers to bring their ideas and concepts to life.

At the annual awards, Creative Conscience will be rewarding talented individuals and teams that have gone above and beyond with their impactful concepts. The organisation then mentors and supports the award winners in helping them to pursue their ideas and careers. One of the previous winners, Elena Ciolacu, a student from Coventry University designed a graphic novel about bullying and teen-suicide awareness. The project which was created for the awards was published online on an anti-bullying website where it has had over two million views worldwide, it helped raise awareness about suicide and the importance of dispelling negative behaviours. Its seventh annual awards night is being held on Tuesday 9th July.

Since launching Creative Conscience, the organisation has inspired over 3,000 purpose driven projects and students and graduates from more than 70 nations have participated in its events. Via sparking a positive dialogue about how the next generation can implement social change, Creative Conscience has discovered that students who have participated in a project run by the organisation, have felt more positive about themselves, their educational experience and including their personal self-esteem.

Chrissy Levett, Founder of Creative Conscience comments: “We always look forward to this event and celebrating the individual’s truly amazing work. They are gifted and determined creatives that want to improve the world through innovative ideas, across all areas of our industry. Our results have shown that 81% of students working on a socially motivated project feel that they can personally – through their creative actions – make a positive difference to the world.”

As a business and as individuals we are incredibly excited to announce this partnership and we are looking forward to making a difference together with Creative Conscience.
